Elferspot Experience – The Alps-Crossing – South to North
Driven by passion. Powered by “Elferspot Experience”
After years of matching up Porsche 911s with new happy owners we have taken the step to offer experiences to match the sheer passion and commitment between all the 911 fans around the world. There are plenty of driving experiences on offer in the market but we at Elferspot have chosen a route that follows our market space – so we offer trips in well prepared Porsche 911s going to locations you normally would never go with your own Porsche 911.
We have teamed up with Kalmar Beyond Adventure to ensure high level of uniqueness and spot on quality with their unique driving adventures. Welcome to our bespoke Elferspot Experience.
The Alps-Crossing North Bound
Beyond Adventure The Alps Crossing North Bound is a “First edition” as we offer this for the first time. The Alps are the highest and most extensive mountain range in Europe. Of course, the highest point – Mont Blanc with its 4,810 meters – is on our route. But unfortunately, there are no roads to the top, so instead, you go under the mountain!
The Alps have so much to offer. Amazing gravel roads, small mountain passes, beautiful villages, its own flora and fauna and never-ending astonishing views. It is very well known to many travelers. But right next to the crowded tourist routes Beyond Adventure Alps Crossing will take you to breathtaking gravel paths that pave the way from one mountain pass to another. Surprising spots where endless snaking roads are hidden between the 100 Alps’ peaks higher than 4,000 meters.
And as if the scenery is not enough – we turn up the experience with our unique cars offered. You can choose between our specially developed Porsche sports cars. We offer Porsche 964, 993, 996 and Cayman R Beyond Adventure RS editions with their special terrain set-up. You can also choose Porsche Cayenne E1 & E2 Beyond Adventure CS editions, developed after many world record drives across continents. Where else is this possible?
I could not believe what sort of roads were to be found right next to the main tourists routes over the Alps.
Jan Kalmar, founder Beyond Adventure
The North-Bound
4 countries and 10 mountain passes tell only a small part of the story. This is the more on-road oriented of the 2 Alps alternatives. Here you will muscle “your Porsche” up and down countless famous Alps passes. Find your own way to Nice international airport where the team will be waiting for you. If you choose to arrive earlier, then just let us know. Special shuttle service can be arranged.
The area asks for some extra days. Enjoy the trills of Monte Carlo. Take a walk around town and pass by the partial madness only found here. Or make a short trip to the amazing hillside village of Eze you will enjoy every minute of it.
Individual Approach
For us the experience must be distinctive – we supply the best service wherever we go but never lose the flexibility and individual approach. Therefore have we developed an unique classic rally-style driving concept for Beyond Adventure, not competing for the fastest time but instead for the most precise timing. This means you drive and navigate by yourself independently. Of course, the support team is always close by and for the most challenging stages, the entire group stays together.
The Alps-Crossing – simply an exciting, unique and so unexpected drive on incredible roads through stunning mountain scenery. A fantastic unforgettable driving experience that exceeded our expectations by far – we can’t wait for the next adventure to come.

Let the adventure begin!
The program, day by day
Day 1
The Adventure starts in the hotel near Casino Square where the F1 cars are racing by with more than 250 kph. At the hotel a welcome drink is awaiting you after the long journey. Enjoy the hotel right in the middle of the action. After a casual welcome lunch, we will take the needed time for a careful welcome briefing with an introduction to your adventure and the cars.
Then take some time off to relax and charge your batteries as there is a lot of action awaiting you in the days to come. Go for a walk to the famous harbour and see the vibrant life in this special part of the world. A beautiful dinner hopefully under the south European skies will put all in the right mood for this adventure.
Hotel: HERMITAGE MONTE-CARLO
Day 2
Let the driving Adventure begin! Today marks the start of the driving days. It will be a very contrast full day. You are heading off on a lap on the F1 track and then leave town via small hill side roads bypassing the highways finding our own ways through romantic hilly villages… And yes, your Porsche will attract a lot of attention even among all the hyper cars in the area.
From now on, it’s all about diving deep into the heart of adventure! First, make your way up some of the famous roads used for Monte-Carlo rally. But there is much more awaiting. As the roads narrow and the tarmac gives way to gravel, you might find yourself wondering if this is real — but it is. You’ll conquer the first of many mountain passes, each one leaving its mark in your memory. Welcome to Italy – three countries in one day. Up ahead, a cozy chalet-style hotel awaits, nestled in the high altitude.
Hotel: CHALET MOREL 1586
Day 3
The day starts in the fresh mountain air. And again, today’s program is very diverse – for you and your now dusty Porsche. Start on an amazing Italian mountain road before you “transit” on some faster more open roads to get to the next highlights. Remember you are “on your own”! So you can set your own pace and take in the fantastic life among the passionate Italians.
The lunch will of course be something special as we are in the food capital of the world by now. But before lunch, taking a break to stretch your legs and hunt for a truffle or two isn’t a bad idea? Back behind the steering wheel of the Porsches, you will be heading north to the amazing area surrounding Lake Como, take in the views and enjoy dinner right at the shore of Lake Como marking the end of today’s journey.
Hotel: MUSA
Day 4
Enjoy a slow start to the day. This area simply can’t be rushed. After lunch you go back into mountain pass mode. And in the coming days, you may attempt to count all the passes but will likely lose track — rest assured, there will be plenty. Serpentine roads with countless hairpin turns seem endless, but navigating through the mountains will be a joy.
Today’s drive covers short distance in kilometers, but you and the car will undoubtedly relish every kilometer. Our final destination today is Livigno, a small tax-free area nestled high in the Italian Alps. Spend the afternoon strolling through the charming town center or treating yourself to a well-deserved spa visit. Take a deep breath of mountain air, as tomorrow marks the big day!
Hotel: SPÖL
Day 5
Today would be called the “kings’ stage” if this adventure were the Tour De France. The Stelvio pass is something special for both car enthusiasts and bikers. The last climb will be in your memory forever! For us, this is the core essence of a real tarmac mountain pass. And as you reach the peak, brace yourself for a thrilling descent on the other side. But why stop there?
Departing from Livigno via a super narrow tunnel sets the tone for the day. Passing by the smallest whiskey bar in the world on route to an amazing lunch at the foot of the Stelvio pass gives you a short time to relax before the big climb. Our overnight in Bormio will be at a small family-run hotel, where today’s adventures will be the topic of discussion over dinner.
Hotel: LA GENZIANELLA
Day 6
Today you will make our way up a less known, but even more spectacular Gavia pass. From there you will work your way to the edge of the alps via even more tiny Italian mountain roads. These are often used for rallies and lead our group to the amazing old town of Bergamo. Find a spot to enjoy the picnic lunch at your own will.
Both your arms and the tires are by now surely worn out. So leave your car at the small parking garage and walk to your city hotel. After dropping off your belongings, let’s set out for a city walk in Bergamo. Spend a few hours exploring with a local guide, and we are sure this will become a place you will want to return to. An authentic Italian family dinner will mark the perfect ending to this day.
Hotel: LE FUNI
Day 7
After breakfast, we navigate through beautiful lake areas and cover some kilometers at higher speeds on the highways. It’s a full alp-traverse, aiming for the highest mountain of them all. By late noon, you’ll catch sight of it, but this time we won’t go over it. Instead, we’ll go under it — through the Mont Blanc Tunnel, arriving in the winter sports and outdoor capital of the world, Chamonix.
We do finish on the top, so we hope your heights won’t take over. A small lunch stop on the way before the last “climb” to the top of Europe. Once safely back on the ground, it’s time to bid farewell to all the like-minded adventurers with whom you’ve shared this unique experience, at dinner.
Hotel: THE MAGIC MEGÈVE BOIS
Day 8
Get up late and enjoy the views. Today, there is no more driving planned, unless you aim for the Geneva International Airport with our shuttle. But why not take a few extra days to relax in this wonderful area of Europe? We highly recommend to take extra time to explore the beauty of Mont Blanc with the opportunity to climb 1,000 meters up to the Montenvers-Mer de Glace attraction with the famous little red railway train.
The cars – Choose your own adventure
It’s your choice! So, what are you most comfortable with? Choose from our proven Beyond Adventure fleet of safari rally inspired Porsches that will suit you best. Let us know which you prefer, or partner with another team and swap cars when you like.
Sports cars
The sports cars (911 and Cayman) have a rear roll-cage, sports seats, raised suspension with rally-specification shock absorbers, tall gravel tires and full under-body protection. There’s a special spare tyre holder and of course, the cooling box behind the seats (not the Cayman).
Porsche KALMAR RS
A light, tough hardcore gravel car that’s at home in the harshest conditions – just remember it’s not the most comfortable car. It’s a true work horse. Air-conditioning is working when we set off. Five or six speed manual transmission. Just 1300kg and 260-290bhp, it’s something else!
Porsche KALMAR RS-6
A more comfortable version of the KALMAR RS and with a water-cooled engine. Good on the long straight roads for sure. Significantly more complex than the RS but has more to offer when treated gently. Six-speed manual transmission, 1425kg ready to go and 300bhp.
Porsche KALMAR RS-C
The new kid on the block – Two luggage compartments but no fridge! It’s the most comfortable and most modern sportscar in the fleet with the PDK gearbox. Fast and agile but worth noting it’s not as tough as some of the others. 1400kg and 326bhp.
Cayennes
The Cayennes with raised suspension and larger, more suitable off-road tires. They also have full under-body protection, roof rack, fridge, and recovery gear to make even the most difficult stages possible. We will use modern tablet navigation so you will never be lost, and we have our satellite-based safety system with all the necessary functions you’ll need.
Porsche Cayenne KALMAR CS
The most comfortable car from the range. You might turn less heads but it feels like a magic carpet ride. Don’t forget these have working air-conditioning all the time.
Porsche Cayenne KALMAR CS-R
The most off-road capable car from the fleet, huge weight reduction from fitting sport seats and the removal of most comfort gear means this car is not the ordinary SUV. Low range and differential locks mean you can go almost anywhere with this car.
Can’t decide? We can help pick the right car that will suit you best.
