Heaven911 – Ode to the air-cooled 911s

On September 21, 2025, the world of Porsche enthusiasts will be looking to Rotterdam in the Netherlands. With Heaven911, Robert Haagsma and his team are organizing an event that is bursting with air-cooled legends. The former submarine shipyard in Rotterdam will be packed with numerous exhibits from the Porsche Museum – so exclusive that you won’t know where to look first.

Netherlands’ largest Porsche exhibition – Heaven911 celebrates the air-cooled 911 era from 1963 to 1998

Heaven911 is not your regular Porsche meeting. Rather, the event in the port of Rotterdam is a journey through Porsche’s air-cooled history. The AIRCOOLED Exhibition brings together air-cooled Porsche 911s from all generations – starting with the F model, ranging up to the 993 – with a focus on the evolution of what is probably the most iconic sports car of all time. Each exhibit is hand-picked and comes with a special story. In addition to 911 F-Models from the service of the Rijkspolitie, RS models of all generations are just as much a part of the exhibition as the 930 Turbo or 964.

Incidentally, the Heaven911 team is still accepting applications. If you are the proud owner of an air-cooled Porsche 911 with a special history, you can become part of what is probably the biggest Porsche event in the Netherlands. Exactly one of each model will be selected. However, it’s not just the car that counts, but also the story behind it. A team of experts curates the entries and selects the right cars for Heaven911.

The AIRCOOLED exhibition is complemented by the ICONICS exhibition. In addition to some of the most legendary Porsche 911 models of all time, numerous cars from exclusive collections are brought together here. Some vehicles from the Porsche Museum will also complement the exhibition. The full list will be published shortly before the event. So far, it is known that a genuine Le Mans winner, an almost undriveable turbo 911 and a unique 911 that probably only a handful of people have ever seen with their own eyes will be included.

Where submarines used to be built, Heaven911 offers Porsches, hospitality and workshops on 4,400 square meters

Between 1929 and 1939, military submarines were assembled in the Rotterdam submarine shipyard. For reasons of secrecy, hardly anyone was allowed to see the inside in the past, but today it serves as an event hall with 4,400 square meters of space. Numerous art exhibitions have been held here since 2010. In September 2025, Heaven911 will be showing mobile art.

The quay overlooking the water on the New Meuse branch of the Rhine provides the ideal backdrop for a meeting of like-minded enthusiasts. In addition to numerous free parking spaces directly at the venue, you can also reach the area by public transport in no time at all. Inside, you can watch presentations, take part in workshops or relax in the hospitality area.
