Porsche means sports car. But as the Stuttgart-based company’s product portfolio continues to grow, they are nowadays known for offering suitable daily drivers, thoroughbred race cars and of course collector’s cars. This opens up exciting possibilities for your private dream garage. Thanks to a hint of our partners from dls Automobile we have a hot title-contender for being the perfect three-car-garage, we want to share with you.
The Porsche Center Göppingen brought these three dream cars of the lucky owner Murat Isik together for a very special photoshoot. Solitude Castle and the vineyards around Stuttgart offered a breathtaking scenery for photographer Noah Benjamin.
The lush green vineyards in the Stuttgart area provide the ideal scenery for great shots at sunset.
Porsche Taycan Turbo S – the daily driver
Four doors, enough space for four adults, plenty storage space, 625 hp (761 hp with overboost) and 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds – hard to beat. The Porsche Taycan has set the bar pretty high as Porsche’s very first battery-electric car. In Turbo S trim, however, its not just about its bonkers acceleration.
At 4.96 meters long, the Porsche Taycan Turbo S is a full-grown sedan. Nevertheless, it doesn’t make an ostentatious impression.
With a range of 222 to 318 miles, it offers enough mileage for most applications. And if it does need a charge, the breaks won’t take too long thanks to its 800V architecture. At the Supercharger, within just 22.5 minutes charging from 0 to 80 percent can be dealt with, ideal conditions provided.
Black paint and Mission E Design wheels look great on the Porsche Taycan Turbo S. Despite its massive 21-inch diameter and huge PCCB brakes, it appears discreet. Just like the soundscape. Fantastic choice for every day! And if you need a little more trunk space, you could also go for the Sport Turismo.
Porsche 992 GT3 Touring – distilled sports car
A Porsche that needs no introduction is scratching its hooves. The Porsche 992 GT3 Touring wants to be driven, hard. From the outside, it remains subtle at first, without the GT3’s big rear wing. But when you give it the beans, getting goose bumps is pretty much guaranteed up shortly before hitting 9,000 rpm.
Will we look back on the Porsche 992 GT3 Touring 20 years from now knowing that it was the last of its kind with an atmospheric combustion engine and no hybrid?
The color combination is incredibly tasteful. Irish green, which is only available as a paint-to-sample color, contrasts excellently with rims in Satin Neodyme. Its interior impresses with full bucket seats in black leather with contrasting stitching and black/white checkered seat centers.
You probably guessed it, gearshifts in this car are done in a very classic way via a 6-speed manual gearbox. That rounds off the really tasteful configuration of this Touring. Even without wings and PDK, it’s a real weapon on the racetrack, that’s for sure. But it’s just as good for a summit run early on a Saturday or Sunday morning as it is for a road trip to the Côte d’Azur.
It’s exciting that a collector’s car, which is already extraordinarily valuable, looks so innocent in direct comparison. This Porsche 993 Turbo almost looks like a wolf in sheeps clothing. Unbelievable, considering it was Porsche’s top of the line 911, just 25 years ago. In this particular case with the factory performance upgrade 2 (WLS 2) it even slumbers an engine with 450 horsepower in the rear.
Not without reason, many consider it the most beautiful Porsche 911 Turbo of all time. But it’s also one of the rarest, only having been only built in the last model year 1998. Exact production numbers are not officially published, though. It is believed, that from the total of less than 600 Porsche 993 Turbos built in ’98, hardly 200 were ordered with WLS 2.
Often declared the most beautiful 911 of all time: The Porsche 993 Turbo.
That makes the 993 Turbo the perfect addition to this small fleet. Beautiful, insanely fast, extremely rare, and incredibly valuable. You drive a car like this on very special occasions and enjoy it to the full. Knowing full well that it is a piece of automotive cultural heritage. After all, it’s the last and most powerful air-cooled Porsche 911 Turbo available.
Biturbo, naturally aspirated, electric – this fleet has the best of three worlds
Hard to think about anything, that could be improved within such a composition. Each car is an absolute dream car in its own right. Together, they make a wonderful journey through the last 25 years of Porsche’s rich history.
If you don’t look back in the parking lot, you’ve got the wrong car! Murat Isik has definitely made the right choice.
What is also particularly exciting is that this triumvirate combines the three defining engine concepts of individual mobility in the past century: air-cooled and water-cooled as internal combustion engines supplemented by the battery-electric drive.
And although the 993 is based on a design that is now almost six decades old, it is by no means an old hat. Sure, the other two shine with outstanding connectivity and modern conveniences, but there are days when you just feel like original.
Whether in the showroom at dls Automobile, or in front of Solitude Castle, this private fleet of a Porsche 993 Turbo WLS 2, Taycan Turbo S, and 992 GT3 Touring makes quite a statement.
