The Renndienst T-shirt – A tribute to the legends of the racetrack
Our 100% organic cotton T-shirt combines comfort and style with a dose of racing history. The word “Renndienst” is printed on the front – a tribute to the dark red VW Renndienst buses.
From the 1950s to the 1970s, these sports cars were accompanied by the iconic Renndienst Bullis. The dark red VW buses, which were considered the technical backbone of the racing team at the time, have themselves become true cult objects today. With this hoodie, you can bring a piece of this legend into your everyday life. Perfect for anyone who wants to live and celebrate the Porsche legend and the history of the Renndienst Bullis.
A must-have for every motorsport fan – casual, sustainable and steeped in history.
The legendary red Renndienst VW Bulli
As early as 1954, the Porsche works team used the first Renndienst van at the legendary Mille Miglia. The need arose because Porsche did not have a suitable vehicle for transporting tools and spare parts. So the idea was born to convert a VW Bus for this purpose. The first model was based on the VW T1, and in the following decades – from the 1950s to the 1970s – numerous other Renndienst buses based on the VW Transporter followed, both T1 and T2.

The vans, equipped with their robust, Luftgekühlt engines, were much more than just mobile workshops. They served the team as flexible service stations and often also as improvised accommodation for engineers and other team members at races around the globe.
But the Renndienst buses were not only practical, they were also real eye-catchers. With their characteristic dark red paintwork, they became an integral part of the Porsche works team, although most of the attention was focused on racing legends such as the Porsche 904, 908, 910 and 917. Today, some of these iconic Renndienst buses can be admired in museums or adorn the garages of passionate Porsche collectors.
+ Machine wash at 30°C, not only gentle on the environment but also on your garment.
+ You should wash your laundry inside out . With every wash cycle, garments rub against each other and therefore always lose some color and material – you can see this especially at the seams and edges.
+ Save yourself the dryer and give your clothes fresh air on the clothesline – wind is known to be the best fabric softener substitute. But make sure you don’t leave your products hanging in the sun directly or for too long so that they don’t fade.
