A beautiful late 80’s Porsche 911 coupe, looking particularly sharp in its original rare colour of Granite Green Metallic (L699) which looks dark grey with a hint of green and full Linen Leather interior. Originally supplied by AFN Ltd Surrey in January 1987, this matching numbers, home market car benefits from full service history, with 25 stamps in the original service book as well as a huge folder of past invoices for work carried out over the years.

Importantly the engine benefits from having a full rebuild in 2004 at 121k miles, carried out by marque specialists RSR Engineering. A top end engine overhaul was then done more recently in 2020 at 139k mies, again carried out by RSR Engineering. The car was last serviced by Performance and Classic Cars in Norwich in march 2022 and has covered just 133 miles since. A full inspection, cylinder leakage and compression test has just been carried out prior to the car going on sale, with the results all well within manufactures specifications. On top of this the body work presents exceptionally well, with no signs of any corrosion. The sills and kidney bowls have been professionally replaced in 2013 by Car Craft Restoration in West Sussex.

These areas are known for rusting, so it’s great to have the peace of mind that this has already been taken care of. The car drives superbly, with the G50 gearbox a pleasure to use. The clutch is smooth, brakes are great and the car still feels very tight and precise on the road. The wheels have been refurbished to a high standard and are shod in new Pirelli tyres all round. The car starts on the button, engine pulls very well, as you would expect after a full rebuild and is not dropping any oil. A stainless steel exhaust is fitted which sounds lovely. The original service book and manual are present along with two keys, original tool kit, jack and a large folder of service history and past MOT’s. Overall this is a fantastic, very usable example of an already much loved 911 which is still appreciating financially and is now ready to be enjoyed by a new owner. Suppled with 6 months warranty with delivery available at request.
