This particular 911 3.2 G50 was delivered new in France and is presented in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. It comes with a complete service history, including invoices from new and the original service book. A recent light repaint has been carried out, and the interior remains in beautiful condition—everything functions as it should, and the leather shows no marks or damage. Mechanically, the car runs perfectly, starting easily with no smoke or unusual noises.

The 911 SC generation almost became the last of the 911 line. Faced with dissatisfaction from customers and enthusiasts, Porsche ultimately decided to keep the model in its lineup—thanks to the vision of Peter Schutz—and replaced the 3.0-liter engine of the SC with a 3.2-liter unit starting in 1983, giving new life to the 911 range.

Unveiled at the 1983 Frankfurt Motor Show, the 911 Carrera 3.2 did not change significantly in appearance compared to the last SC models, aside from a few details. The standard wheels were now 15-inch “telephone dial” rims, with the Fuchs alloys remaining available as an option.

The Carrera 3.2’s engine had to meet strict consumption and emissions requirements, particularly for the U.S. market—Porsche’s most important at the time. It retained the aluminum block from the SC, now bored out to 3,164 cc, producing 231 hp compared to 204 hp in the final SC models. The K-Jetronic system was replaced by a new Bosch DME ignition and fuel management system.

Initially, the car was fitted with the 915 gearbox, first developed for the 2.4 S in 1972. A major improvement came in 1987 with the introduction of the Getrag G50 transmission, which offered quicker, smoother, and more precise shifts.
