When the first Porsche production models rolled off the line at Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, quality took precedence over quantity. Quality of design and quality of manufacture were of equal importance. Every eighth position in the production line was given over to quality inspection.

The 911 3.2 had a redesigned engine inlet and exhaust system, along with the fitment of a service-free Digital Engine Management ignition system (DME), in conjunction with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel metering. This resulted in a significant increase in engine performance but a significant reduction in fuel consumption, through better engine efficiency and fuel cut-off when coasting.  With a capacity of 3.2 litres, power output was 231 bhp @ 5900 rpm, torque was 284 NM @ 4800 rpm, and compression 9,5:1.  Acceleration to 62 mph was achieved in just 6.1 seconds and top speed, where permitted, is 152 mph.

Garaged throughout its life, this rare ultra-low mileage Dark Blue 911 Carrera Coupe is presented in wonderful condition both inside and out, just as one would expect.  Originally supplied by Porsche Stuttgart in October 1989, our car is complete with stamped original service book, handbook pack, jack and toolkit and spare keys. A fresh Porsche specification service and new tyre set, as well as numerous other refurbishments have now been completed.  All in all, an unrepeatable Porsche in close-to-new condition to delight any true collector. The Carrera 3.2 Coupe will also be supplied with a 12-month written warranty.
