Meteor Grey over Black leather. Delivered new to University Porsche-Audi in Edmonds, WA on 03/05/86. The car remained within a 50 mile radius in the Seattle, WA area up until our acquisition this month. Finished in the desirable shade of 961 -Meteor Grey Metallic. A shade offered in MY 1985 and 1986 only in the aircooled years. It was brought back and offered again for the 997 era cars. The most recent owner acquired the car in 2019 from a work colleague, where it remained under their care since 1992. Driving the car sparingly due to health reasons, he reluctantly parted ways with this Carrera last month.

Le véhicule en détail

On 04/14/1988, the trip meter on the odometer  was reset while in motion. The car was still under warranty at the time, and the speedometer/ odometer unit was replaced entirely at just 1,912 miles. As a result, the car was issued a  » Not Actual Mileage » brand upon its transfer of ownership in 1992. We have documented service history with mileage readings from ’91-forward. Though it will be sold as  » TMU, » we’ve been around our fair share of G series 911s. There are many other clues that support its mileage displayed as accurate alongside the service paperwork.

All accessories and systems function as designed. The all original interior is in great shape and well kept. The original black sliverknit carpet is plush and dense.  The seats exhibit just the right amount of patina, but retain great structure in the bolsters and seat bottoms. Dashboard, glovebox, door cards, map pockets, rear seats are all in fantastic condition. No broken tabs or creative repairs. Even still retains its original speakers and speaker grilles.The headliner sits perfectly in place, the sunroof functions as intended. All gauges are functional including the in-dash oil level gauge( a rare find!) No funky odors in the cabin. A factory tool-kit( complete), air pump, and spare tire are with the car.

The car was involved in a low-speed accident in 2003. As a result, the front bumper, doors, and hood were refinished. The repair was done to a high standard, even my trained eye cant see a blend line. Overall, the paint is in good condition . No marring, sun fade, or clearcoat delamination to be found ( Interior & exterior) Touch up spots can be found on driver door, and rear decklid. Stone chips and peppering on front lower valence. Original 6 & 7×16″ fuchs show no signs of weathering. Undercarriage is dry. No corrosion to be found of any kind thanks to it being a West Coast car. ( Undercarriage photos will be uploaded soon)

In all, this is an excellent driver that is ready to jump in and rally or attend local club events. Meteor grey is a relevant and favorited color in the Porsche community. Depending on the light, the color will surprise you with hues of purple and amber mixed in with the gorgeous metallic flake.
