Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 WTL

HCC is proud to present this 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa with the M491 « Turbo Look » package and just over 61k miles. Finished in Linen Grey Metallic over a black interior, it was optioned with the limited slip differential, a shorter gear shift lever, a steering wheel with raised hub, and the aforementioned Turbo Look package (option code 491).

Available on coupes, cabriolets, and targas, the M491-equipped cars gained the wider fenders, front and rear spoilers, brakes, and suspension from the 930 Turbo while retaining the 3.2L naturally aspirated flat-6 of the Carrera. In total, Porsche produced a little over 1,800 M491 cars between 1984 and 1989. Of those, only 95 were 1989 model year cars and just 15 of those Targas. As a 1989 model, it features the improved « G50 » 5 speed manual, which was equipped on all Carrera 3.2s from 1987 on. This M491 Targa is offered fully serviced with a clean title and a Carfax showing a minor incident in 2003.
