Porsche 911 2.0 E Targa LWB built in July 1969 and sold new in the United States. Unit with manual gearbox and marking 21.914 miles

1 of only 858 – Tangerine exterior color (code 6809) with original black interior (Black Leatherette / 9822). The seats were recently reupholstered with the appreciated Pepita print. This unit belonged to a Hollywood movie star and corroborating documentation is delivered with the vehicle. In 2017 the car was moved to France and registered with French historical plates. The French owner has a house on the Costa Brava (Spain) and the car has been used very little since then. A few years before arriving in Europe, the car had its paint and engine restored.

The car was painted green and fitted with vintage Recaro type seats. Once the car arrived in Europe, its owner restored its original Tangerine color and all the interior details, including its seats, carpets, door panels,…. In total, this return to the originality of the model amounted to more than €20,000.

The vehicle is delivered with an extensive folder that contains history of maintenance, import, previous owners,… And it also comes with its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, where you can confirm that the car is Matching Numbers.

The E model with a 2.0 engine has the peculiarity that it was only manufactured for one year. In addition, the 69 models are the only ones with a 2.0 engine that already have a long body (+57mm), also known as LWB. With a Targa body, only about 858 units were manufactured. The E version in particular replaced the 911 L and has the same ventilated disc brakes as the S version.
