Porsche 911 SC (1979)

The 911 SC has only had three owners. On June 25, 1979, the vehicle was delivered in Germany to Mrs. Ursula Reimherr from Dortmund and after 9 years a German soldier named Leo Greer took the car to San Diego California. The car remained in his possession there for more than thirty years, after which the current owner bought the vehicle. Inquiries at Porsche Actiengesellschaft show that the vehicle has the original engine and gearbox. The current owner has completely restored the Porsche to its original and new condition, with the color (sonderfarbe 436-9-3 Sienna metallic) and the interior (leatherette brown/pinstripe velvet) being matched with the original.

Restoration

As described, this Porsche 911 SC was brought to the original factory specification by the current owner in 4 years. The paintwork has been removed to the bare steel, engine repackaged (older revision) injection overhauled, gearbox overhauled, entire undercarriage overhauled, all rubbers of the entire car replaced, entire interior including counters and even a large part of the wiring harness replaced. Original replacement materials from Porsche were used. Photos of the restoration are available and can be viewed upon viewing or will be sent upon request.

Interior

All seats have been reupholstered in leatherette brown with pinstripe velour. Rest of the interior of the floor has brown carpet to the original factory specification. The sky is black and still original and in a beautiful condition.

Engine and box
Engine number and box number are matching. Engine has an older revision, but has been repackaged and equipped with many new parts. The gearbox has been overhauled at a recognized overhaul company and of course fitted with a new clutch. Also equipped with new heat exchangers, silencer and exhaust part (all in stainless steel).

Manual + maintenance booklet
As you can see in the pictures, this Porsche has undergone a nut and bolt restoration. There is a manual and tool kit in the car. Even the manual controls for the sunroof are in the glove box! A thick folder with invoices, also from previous owners, of all purchases and work is also present.

A beautiful Porsche 911 SC where no expense has been spared on the exterior and the interior!
