The car was disassembled, the body was refinished in its original Black Metallic, and the interior was reupholstered in the correct Weissach specification featuring Doric Grey leather with Burgundy accents. The 3.0-liter flat-six engine and five-speed manual transaxle were rebuilt, including upgrades such as Dilavar lower head studs and Carrera 3.2-spec chain tensioners. The brake and suspension systems were also comprehensively overhauled. Since the completion of the work, the car has covered only 90 miles.
The car is now offered by the owner in Nijkerk, Netherlands, and comes with a German-language Porsche certificate, photographic documentation of the restoration, removed original parts, and Dutch registration documents.
ExteriorThe Weissach edition was created to honor Porsche’s motorsport development center in Weissach, Germany, and included a whale-tail rear spoiler as standard. This example is finished in Black Metallic, one of only two available Weissach colors, and was fully refinished in this original shade during the restoration. Rubber seals and gaskets were replaced, and the original US-spec bumpers and lighting are included in the sale.
Wheels & SuspensionThe 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are finished in Platinum Metallic with polished lips, and are fitted with Continental tires. The following components were replaced or refurbished:
