In 1979 the ‘S’ version of Porsche’s 928 arrived featuring a 4.6-litre engine while in 1986 the model was further revised and restyled, becoming the ‘S4’. Its engine producing 320bhp courtesy of 16-valve cylinder heads and enlargement to 4,957cc, the ‘S4’ could now top 257km/h. Today this underrated modern classic is increasingly seen as offering exceptional value for money. This automatic transmission ‘S4’ comes with invoices dating back to March 2020 when it was treated to extensive renovation with no expense spared by Garage de Marais.
