Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this very highly specified, low mileage 991.2 Carrera 4S.  It looks terrific in the ever-desirable black paint with black leather combination. Keeping the Porsche mantra of “Evolution, not revolution” alive, the 991 Series keeps a close visual link to its 997 predecessors but has moved the game forward a very long way.

Designed by 993 stylist Tony Hatter, with a longer and wider track, the 991 brings elegance back to the current 911 cars. The longer wheelbase improves stability, and the wider track means that a slightly milder anti-roll bar can be employed at the front, thus reducing the tendency to understeer, an inherent 911 trait.  As it stands, the revised front and rear running gear combined with the larger dimensions make the 991 a different handling Porsche than the 997, particularly in terms of stability. The 4-wheel drive system enhances this all-round usability and the wide body style of the Carrera 4S just adds to the visual enjoyment.

Car Magazine wrote, “There are naturally upsides to forced induction. It’s mind-crushingly fast for a one-step-up-from-entry-level model, dispatching the 0-62mph sprint in just 3.8sec in PDK spec. Brutal overtaking muscle is available across the rev range, transmission and flat six unhesitatingly slick to provide blistering pace at all road speeds. Yet the drivetrain also cuts the engine at a coast, helping to achieve the remarkable 36.5mpg combined economy and CO2 emissions that’d beat some executive cars.”  The 420 hp twin-turbocharged 3.0 six-cylinder engine, provides a remarkable top speed of 188 mph
