It has always been a special Porsche. But as special as it is now, it has never been special in terms of technology. A 4.0 liter 510 hp engine that comes straight from the GT3 RS ven even revs up to 9,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission is just magisterial. If you then factor in its weight savings, so many parts are made of carbon and aluminum, you arrive at a weight of just 1,465 pounds, which makes it so agile that you forget you’re on the road with such a big 911. Of course, this is due to all those wonderful things like a co-steering rear axle, Porsche Torque Vectoring, a 25 mm lowered adjustable sports suspension, dynamic engine mounts and even Ceramic brake discs, all present on the most extraordinary Speedster of all time.
