In recent years there have been noises that the 911 is becoming very comfortable after all, and driving it involves a bit less of “the old Porsche feeling. Because of this, some stick to a nice 997 MK2 or buy a GT3, because that brings back the sporty character in that 911, which has delighted us for over 60 years after all. Porsche itself, of course, is no fool either and thinks carefully about which 911 suits each person best. Since there is no one-size-fits-all answer, there is no model that has as many forms as the 911. Now to appeal to the Porsche enthusiast who is all about real driving pleasure and doesn’t want to drive around with such a gaudy wing right away, the Carrera T was created. And fair is fair, this is insanely successful in our eyes. There are few 911 models that can match the fantastic 911 Carrera T. Quite extraordinary that the changes made make such a difference. A lowered sports suspension, a mechanical limited slip differential, a little less insulation and weight savings make it ultimately a 911 from the “wannahave” category.
