A stunning example of the last of the air cooled 911s. This beautifully presented 993 Carrera 2 Cabriolet is finished in its original colour combination of Arctic Silver paintwork with Midnight Blue leather interior and Dark Blue hood. Originally supplied by Rivervale Porsche, Brighton, in July 1997. The car has been particularly well maintained, with 23 service stamps over 2 service books, and invoices in the history file to back up the uninterrupted maintenance. The last service was carried out in August 2023 at 75,526 miles (under 3,000 miles ago). Powered by the 285 bhp Varioram air cooled 3.6 litre engine and benefitting from a fully electric blue hood which comes down in seconds. A new clutch was fitted at 50,429 miles by La Rose Porsche. The suspension has been upgraded to new Bilstein shocks with new top mounts. The convertible hood was professionally replaced in 2008 and remains in very good condition. The original stereo has been replaced with an up to date Blaupunkt Bremen DAB unit. A new Bosch battery was fitted last year and the AC was also re gassed and is still blowing cold. The 17 inch Cup 2 alloy wheels have been refurbished and remain in superb condition with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres on the front and a set of Bridgestone on the rear. The car drives faultlessly with everything working as it should. Supplied with the original service book, 2 keys, original tool kit, large folder of past invoices, MOTs and associated history. Complete with original tonneau cover and wind deflector. Valid MOT until October 2024 with no advisories and 6 months warranty as standard.
