1996 Porsche 993 Turbo for sale!

Delivered new on October 9th, 1996 by Porsche Zentrum Münster to its first custodian, Manuel Mercadal. He ordered and specified the car, choosing the extremely attractive exterior color L92M Polar Silver Metallic, a shade of silver that offers blue tones. Other relevant optionals included black interior leather, sunroof and heated seats. He wanted to have the car factory fitted with the X50 powerkit, but he was advised by the dealership that such optional would delay delivery of his Turbo for a couple more months, so since no internal modifications had to be performed at a later point, decided to have it installed later at the dealership.

Mr. Mercadal, who was a Spanish citizen with a residence in Telgte, Germany, brought his new 911 Turbo to Spain shortly after taking delivery, and registered it in Barcelona, Spain on November 1996 under the number plate B-5821-ST.

Shortly after having the car in Barcelona, he asked Porsche Barcelona to fit the car with the X50 430hp powerkit.

The vehicle remained under his possession until 2006, when with just under 30.000km it was purchased by a Doctor from Asturias. Since that time until today, the vehicle has always maintained by a Porsche specialist from that zone, RetroCar.

The possession of the car remained with the second owner until March 2022, when it was acquired by its third and last custodian, a classic car enthusiast and rally driver.

During 2022 and 2023, the vehicle received major maintenance and up-to-date services, and we’re happy to report this 993 Turbo is in outstanding condition and ready to be driven and enjoyed. It still retains its matching numbers engine and gearbox, carpet and numbered panels, and most of its original paint, in exception of the left door and front fender.
