Porsche’s 996-generation 911 Turbo S was every bit a supercar, and this stunning example is much more than a standard Turbo S. Ordered by its first owner in Oman, it left the Special Wishes department at Weissach in a one-of-a-kind paint and interior combination that must be seen to be appreciated: Special-order Linen Gray Metallic (E80) with a full leather Boxster Red interior. This Turbo S is believed to be the only manual-transmission example created in this flattering colour scheme.

he 2005 911 Turbo S was carried over from the already potent 2004 Turbo, which had offered the X50 ‘Power Kit’ as an extra-cost option that became standard on the Turbo S. Output rose to 450 bhp thanks to larger K24 turbochargers and intercoolers from the GT2, revised ECU mapping, and a less restrictive exhaust system. Power was delivered through either a semi-automatic Tiptronic gearbox or a six-speed manual and thence to a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system. Less than a third of the 600-unit ‘S’ production run were ordered with the manual box. Although the Turbo S was thoroughly civilised, it could sprint to 100 km/h in just over four seconds, top out at 300 km/h, and stop easily with its carbon-ceramic disc brakes.

The Turbo S was loaded with standard features, and this one included even more desirable items. These included sport seats with embossed crests and numerous Alu-look options specified for the interior with extensive carbon-fibre trim. The car was eventually sold to an enthusiast in Abu Dhabi and then to the consignor, and brought to Europe in September 2015. Now showing just under 88,000 km as confirmed by its original service book and supplied with its original manuals, tools, and invoices, this unique Turbo S is ready for its next owner to enjoy.
