You are in the pub and you are about to share your new pride. As your edifying story about sports cars progresses against your friends, one calls out; let me guess, you bought a 911! How do you know that? Well because anyone with a car heart that can also think rationally goes for a Porsche. Thoroughly, steadily and sensibly insert very hard on the A1! Is every 911 really the same? No, if you know where to look, you are still quite special in your 911!

One of our favorite 911’s is the 997.2. The .2 stands for the facelift, recognizable by the slightly different taillights with LEDs. Because it’s a Carrera 4S, she has a wide bum and runs her taillight to the other side with a light bar. Another sentimental ode to earlier 911’s. She’s starting to get pretty special now, isn’t she?

The ‘S’ behind the 4 is synonymous with 200 cc more engine capacity and 40 HP extra. With the sports exhaust (just turn on the button) the Bose speakers are totally unnecessary, what is the sound of an uninflated 6 cylinder boxer anyway! She comes from a warm enthusiast’s nest where she has been used (daily) for what she was made for. Eat for miles and enjoy! With all the dealer-maintained miles she really drives like new. You can think those 2 away too, then you would believe it!
