Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this rare, low mileage Generation II 997 Carrera 4S Cabriolet which is equipped with a long list of optional factor extras, and presents beautifully in a colour combination that sets it apart from the mainstream.  There’s nowhere better to experience the 911 than during an involving Sunday drive in an open-top 911, which is why every 911 Carrera model is also offered in Cabriolet form.

The 997 series was the most commercially successful Porsche 911 of all time.  The styling harked back to the revered Porsche 993 era, and was widely acclaimed by seasoned Porsche enthusiasts.  The much-loved oval-shaped headlights returned, and the interior was re-designed with new controls, more reminiscent of the classic 911 interiors. The body shape remained low profile, with a drag coefficient of just 0.29 for the Carrera.

The 997 Generation II models were introduced in 2008, gaining a new direct fuel injection 3,800cc engine which produced 385 HP, a revised suspension, revised styling, new HID projector headlamps, touch-screen navigation, and Bluetooth telephony.  The 997 Carrera 4S Cabriolet can reach 0 to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 183 mph.

44mm wider than its rear-wheel drive sibling, the 4S features a seamless rear taillight strip and titanium coloured air intake grilles and slats to provide a unique look. Porsche Traction Management provides active all-wheel drive which optimises driving dynamics:  these are underpinned by the mechanically locking rear differential. Rear tyres on the 4S are wider, measuring 305/30 ZR19 which helps to improve grip.  Traction in wet and snowy conditions is thus significantly better, and safety and dynamics are both improved.

This Carrera 4S Cabriolet was originally supplied by Porsche Centre Leeds in March 2010, and has enjoyed 7 services. It retains its driver’s handbook pack, spare keys and VTS fobs. It is an immaculate example, which has benefitted from a recent scheduled service and a new N-rated tyre set.  It will also be supplied with a full 12-month warranty.  Available to view at our London showrooms.
