Like new manual 997.2 Turbo Cabriolet, of which just over a hundred pieces were produced, with loads of special options, like Ceramic brakes, Spyder center lock wheels, Turbo electric hardback seats in body color, alcantara steering wheel, extended leather package.
This car was carefully assembled by and for someone at a high position at Porsche Stuttgart. It was driven 18.000 km by in posession of Porsche.
We recently discovered that, still in posession of Porsche, in November 2013 there was a complaint of lack of power. The car went back into the factory’s own workshop were it stayed until Februari 2014 and was tested. The technicians couldn’t notice this complaint, but nevertheless decided to take out the engine and replace it for a new one.
Normally, when done for guarantee and by a dealership, a “motorwechsel” stamp would be in the book.
In this case, while it was performed by Porsche “VKT”, it was only logged in their own system.
While being changed at 18.000 km, this engine now has 18.400 since new.
All in all a like new and very interesting vehicle!
