This Basalt black 997 .1 Targa was sold new here in Sweden and has been used very sparingly since then. The black body rests on perhaps the best rims of the generation. The ‘Carrera Sport’ rim in 19″ with a brushed aluminum rim that here marries perfectly with the window frame that elegantly follows the unique roof shape. Just like most 997s, the exterior is free of unnecessary details and elements, with only a simple ‘Targa 4S’ emblem at the rear. With the Targa variant, the car also gets perhaps its best attribute. The glass surfaces and the light in the cabin. Even from a distance, the Sand Beige interior contrasts with the black exterior and the whole is magical. Open the door and the entire cabin is experienced completely differently thanks to the light. Something that is completely unique for the 997 generation. Even in the 991 Targa, the interior is not experienced as special. In the center console, the eyes fall directly on the six-speed manual gear selector. What more could you want?
