Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this low mileage Porsche 997 Generation II Carrera S coupe. It’s equipped with a healthy list of optional factory extras, and looks very smart in its classic colour combination. For many drivers and enthusiasts, the 997 series was the last real modern Porsche with old school DNA.

The styling of the 997 series harked back to the revered Porsche 993 era and was widely acclaimed by seasoned Porsche owners.  The much-loved oval-shaped headlights returned, and the interior was re-designed with new cabin controls more reminiscent of the classic 911 interiors. The body shape remained low profile, with a drag coefficient of just 0.29 for the Carrera.

The 997 Generation II models were introduced in 2008, gaining a revised direct fuel injection 3,800cc engine which produced an impressive 385 HP.  They also added a revised suspension, updated styling, new HID projector headlamps, touch-screen navigation, and Bluetooth telephony.  The new PDK gearbox replaced the Tiptronic S system. It produced the quickest available acceleration, offered fast gear changes with no powerband interruption, improved fuel consumption and saved weight. The 997 Carrera 2S coupe can reach 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph.

Our low mileage example was supplied new by Porsche Centre Wilmslow in December 2008.  It comes complete with a full service history which together with the low mileage, explains why this car is presented in such excellent condition.
