2008 Porsche 911 GT3

GT3. Three simple letters that when out on the back of a Porsche signifies something special. The model was first intruduced around the start of the 00’s and was ment to blur the line between the racecars and the street cars something that the 996 did beautifully. After two iterations of 996 GT3 we were given the 997 and not long after this. The 997.1 GT3. The etos has always been strong with the GT cars and the 997.1 GT3 falls in line with its low weight and 415hp this is one of the best driving experiances the 997 ever offered.

And the car in front of us is just that. A 997.1 GT3 from 2008 clad in a elegant suit of the somewhat rare shade of Slate Grey Metallic with wheels partly in black. But just like a bodybuilder in a nice suit its hard for the GT3 to hide its muscles. The aggressive front is complemented by the dominat wing in the rear. The GT3 leaves no question as to what it was built for.

Open the drivers door and you are met with a sea of carbon and alcantara that starts with the kickplate in carbon. Under the adaptive sportseats on the drivers side you’ll find a fire extinguisher and just like all GT3’s where the rear sets once were all you’ll find is a GT3 badge. The center consol shares the exterior color and ties the outside to the inside nicly.
