At 1375kgs, weight saving was achieved by the use of an adjustable carbon fibre rear win and plastic engine cover, and a lightweight, plastic rear window. The RS body shell is also 44 mm wider at the rear, which improved directional stability and cornering grip. In addition to all the then all new technology featured, the paint scheme and body panels were all designed specially for the RS and the majority were finished in either orange or light green paint, mixed specially for this limited production model of 1,909 units worldwide.

Chassis # WP0ZZZ9927S791185 was ordered new by Richard Goddard (Jenson Button’s manager), but Goddard didn’t take delivery. The car was instead sold to Jamiroquai via Porsche Silverstone with delivery mileage and re-registered on 23.03.2007. Then in 2014, we supplied the car to the current owner with 4,900 miles.

Since 2014, the car has continued to be immaculately maintained, with OPC service stamps in the book and has only covered a further 983 miles, now totalling 5,683 recorded since new.
