Now that we’ve been connecting beautiful Porsche sports cars with their new, happy owners for several years, it’s time to create experiences that reflect the passion and dedication of Porsche fans around the world. There are many driving experience providers on the market, but here at Elferspot, we offer something truly special—climb into a specially prepared Porsche 911 and explore places you’d never drive to in your own sports car.

Have you already participated in standard winter training sessions with street tires? Then it’s high time for something completely new! Why not experience a real challenge instead, where you can push your vehicle to its limits? A completely unique winter racing training session with specially prepared Luftgekühlt Porsche 911s. All vehicles are equipped with genuine World Rally Championship tires! An exciting combination of real ice and rally tracks becomes the ideal playground to challenge yourself and “your” Porsche 911.

As always with Kalmar Beyond Adventure, only the best is good enough. Our team of hand-picked, predominantly Scandinavian drivers offers customized and personalized driving programs with one instructor per car and a maximum of five cars in total. We offer unparalleled driving lessons for advanced drivers, combined with a friendly atmosphere and the best “smiles per mile” ratio in the industry. Whether you’re driving on ice for the first time or are an experienced racer, everyone will benefit from our unique training style.

Spirit of Speed – ARCTIC CONTROL

Whether you’re an advanced rider or new to the ice, don’t worry—we start slow and finish fast. Even if you have little experience, after a brief introduction, you’ll learn to master the fine art of ice riding. Together with your instructor, you’ll design your perfect driving program—a combination of section and circuit training—tailored to your individual skills and goals. Our unique intercom system makes communicating with your instructor easy and convenient.

Plenty of driving time, including special “night drives,” along with a customized data-logging system, help create the perfect driver’s paradise.

Spirit of Speed – ARCTIC RACE

Speed and excitement! Just like in ARCTIC CONTROL, we strive for nothing less than the best—and we’re not stopping there! We’re adding a stopwatch so you can keep drifting through the forest on hilly, winding tracks.

The result is a true rally experience with pace notes—get ready to race against your co-driver and the others in your group. To achieve this goal, we’ll not only show you how to drive a stage, but also teach you how to drive it as fast as possible—push yourself to your limits and beyond!

Everything is planned around you and your group. Before you arrive, we’ll create a customized program tailored to your wishes. The sky’s the limit—challenge us, and we’ll make it happen!

The Schedule

ARRIVAL DAY

• Individual arrival at Kittilä Airport.
• The team will pick you up at the airport and take you to our lodge.
• Take some time to acclimate to the Nordic surroundings and explore the winter wonderland, or relax in the hot tub or sauna at our lodge.
• An authentic welcome dinner awaits you. Then it’s time to rest up before the driving begins tomorrow.

DAY 1

• After an early breakfast, the team will take you through the most beautiful winter landscapes to the driving area, where a unique combination of ice and rally tracks awaits you.
• Before you enter the rally course, we’ll adjust your seat and give you an introduction to the vehicles so that you’ll feel comfortable behind the wheel over the next few days. To wrap things up, you’ll enjoy a full day of training tailored to your skills, abilities, and goals! You’ll start with a section-by-section training session to get to know the cars and tires, followed by a drive along the entire course.
• After seven hours on the course, we’ll bring you back so you can enjoy a well-deserved break before we serve you a local dinner. With the Arctic Race option, we’ll also prepare pace notes and hold a rally briefing.

DAY 2

• Today we’ll tackle new and more challenging routes, and the intensity will increase as much as you can handle—we have routes for all skill levels.
• With the Arctic Race option, you can opt for the full rally experience, complete with a time trial just like in a real winter rally. Long stages and maximum adrenaline. If the timed runs aren’t your thing, just keep practicing and enjoy the pure bliss of driving. Tired but pumped with adrenaline after 6 hours of active driving, it’s time for a farewell dinner.
• In an authentic restaurant with just one table and one reservation per evening, a 6-course meal is prepared just for you, tucked away from the tourists. As many local ingredients as possible are used. Enjoy dinner while reminiscing about the amazing driving moments from the past two days. On the way back to the villas, it’s time to say goodbye.

DEPARTURE DAY

• After breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in optional activities.
• When the time comes, we’ll take you to the airport, where we’ll say goodbye with a “See you next year.”

Aurora Package

If you’ve already traveled to the Arctic, why not take an extra day to enjoy some of the other experiences this winter wonderland has to offer? After a leisurely breakfast at the villa, you can spend the day on various adventures, such as:

• Visit the husky farm, where eager sled dogs are waiting to take you on the ride of a lifetime through the magical snow-covered forest.
• Experience the magical world of snow and ice with a visit to the Lainio Snow Village, featuring beautifully decorated rooms, sculptures, and an ice bar where you can enjoy a drink.
• Create unforgettable memories while skiing or snowboarding on the 44 diverse slopes of the Levi Alpine Resort, where the Alpine World Cup season kicks off every November.
• Feel the adrenaline rush as you ride a snowmobile through the forest. Levi has over 900 km of well-maintained snowmobile trails.
• Take a relaxing snowshoe hike or enjoy cross-country skiing right near our villas.
• Explore the area on a fat-e-bike tour or simply visit the shops at the Levi Center. In the evening, you can explore the lively village of Levi with its many bars and restaurants.

Professional British precision driver and instructor. Whether it’s rallying, circuit racing, or expeditions, Joe has a wealth of experience that he’s happy to share with you.

DENNIS LIND

A professional factory driver with the DNA of a highly respected racing family. Dennis has an exceptionally high percentage of podium finishes and race wins, including world championship titles.

BENNY SIMONSEN

A Danish race car driver with a wealth of experience. Thanks to his talent, Benny will show you all the maneuvers you need to master to really “dance” with your car.

FINN ALBIG

Finn is a German VLN race car driver who has already competed in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. He loves endurance racing and precision driving under challenging conditions.

GEKKO MÖLLÄRI

Gekko is a Finnish rally driver and instructor. His experience will help you improve your ice racing skills and gain experience as quickly as possible. He’s a mix of Iceman and Latino.

FLEET

With Spirit of Speed, you have the opportunity to push a wide selection of rally-prepped Porsches to their limits. Our high-performance, manual, Luftgekühlt classic 911s and water-cooled “youngtimers” are waiting for you. In addition, we offer a modern mid-engine sports version of the perfectly balanced Cayman R with the lightning-fast PDK transmission. All cars feature significantly reduced weight, as well as sports seats, seat belts, and a roll cage for your safety, along with full underbody protection. Driver-assistance features are limited to ABS, and even that can be turned off at will, leaving you entirely on your own.

Our motto is to start where others stop, and that’s certainly the case here. You learn by pushing your limits, and if we can do that safely and with a smile, then that’s exactly what we’ll do.

At Spirit of Speed Arctic, you’ll experience real World Rally Championship tires!

A great deal of development time has gone into this special tire, resulting in a perfect balance with the World Rally Championship (WRC) that adds a whole new dimension to the experience—these aren’t just standard street tires with slightly longer spikes. These are the very same WRC tires that win the Swedish Winter Rally! Yes, we have access to the factory tires and offer you the best winter rally tire ever produced. Each tire is 105 to 135 mm wide and equipped with precious-metal spikes that protrude between six and seven millimeters from the tread. A total of 384 spikes! The result is lap times and control that are superior to any other tire offered at other training sessions.

Throughout the entire event, you’ll have your own instructor by your side to ensure you follow your personalized program. You’ll have the opportunity to try out a wide variety of Porsche’s renowned engine and drivetrain configurations. Rear-wheel drive, rear-engine configurations, all-wheel drive, and even the agile and responsive mid-engine Cayman R, which will surprise anyone behind the wheel.

When you register, let us know whether you prefer a concept or a vehicle, and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your request—but only once you’ve mastered all the concepts can you be crowned a true “Ice Cream Professor.”

THE RACING TRACK

We’re proud to have our own new location, where we don’t have to share the grounds—or even the tracks—with other drivers. Our site is located in a secluded area in a former iron mine. And, of course, it’s guaranteed to have freezing cold, arctic temperatures. What makes it unique is that we can finally offer all three types of driving surfaces: lake, swamp, and rally-style hard-pack trails. We designed the tracks ourselves, so there’s a wide variety of layouts, widths, and speeds to choose from. Three square kilometers should be plenty of space for just 4–5 cars to drive at the same time.

Our villas are located in Levi, Finland—a popular and lively winter sports and ski resort in northern Lapland, situated 150 km north of the Arctic Circle. It is famous for hosting the annual World Cup opener in alpine skiing. Although it is located so far north, Kittilä Airport is accessible via direct flights from Helsinki, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Paris, Manchester, London, Milan, and Riga.

The villas are just 10 minutes from the airport. The driving area is located near the Swedish border, and the shuttle ride can be used as a short break before the action begins—and certainly also to lower your adrenaline levels at the end of the day’s driving. The highly demanding and challenging ice and rally tracks will become your playground and reward you for honing your skills as you speed through the Lapland forest. A small coffee hut will serve as the hub of the action, and lunch will be enjoyed at a nearby restaurant.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Our specially selected accommodation, Kite Lodge, is located in the heart of the Yiläs Ski Resort in the Finnish part of Lapland. More specifically, it’s in Yiläsjärvi. About 150 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, it is surrounded by unspoiled wilderness and authentic Lappish charm. Kittilä Airport, which offers direct flights from many major European cities, is only 30 minutes away. If you’d like, you can extend the trip a bit by riding your own snowmobiles.

Located at the foot of the ski slopes, each of these architecturally stunning villas offers over 200 square meters of Nordic living. Every detail has been designed to make your stay as pleasant as possible. That means plenty of space, classic Scandinavian architecture, and an experience that’s a complete contrast to a typical hotel stay.

Every guest enjoys an en-suite bathroom and a separate lounge building where the team and guests can gather—complete with a traditional Finnish sauna, a jacuzzi, and a cozy fire pit on the terrace. And to make your stay absolutely unforgettable, you’ll be treated to meals prepared by your very own chef. That way, even after a long day of driving filled with adrenaline, you’ll be well-rested on the second and third days and ready for new adventures.
