For sale: Porsche 911

This 1971 Porsche 911T was retrieved from Long Island New York to Europe in 2012 and served as the basis for a high-quality sporty classic Porsche with sensational driving pleasure.

The restoration was carried out between 2012 and 2013 by Porsche specialist Schmidt, also builder of the famous “Von Schmidt”.

After the car was completely stripped, it was sandblasted and epoxy painted, various parts welded and the car fully painted in the Porsche color Chiffon Weiss.

The 2.2L engine has been upgraded to a 2.7L with 200 hp and also the original 901 gearbox has been overhauled. The chassis has been completely renewed and equipped with Bilstein dampers and stronger brakes. The high power of the engine combined with the low weight of the car and the top chassis provide sensational speed and great handling.

It new SSI exhaust system produces a powerful exhaust sound with the well-known Porsche roar when the revs go up. This in combination with the open air filters provides the real goosebumps sound.

The interior has been completely renewed with BF Torino seats covered with sandy brown leather which is also reflected in the doors.

The wooden Nardi steering wheel from Classico wheels, the wooden gear lever and original Heuer stopwatches complete the interior
