1) It’s rare; 1 of just 39 UK supplied C16 RHD cabriolets

2) It’s special; Supplied to its first owner by Lancaster Porsche during January 1988. It’s finished in classic Guards red, but the interior is unusual having been selected from the factory ‘Special Wishes’ program’. It looks fabulous in Linen leather and features a black leather dash top, leather knee rolls, leather to the door panels, armrests and rear seats, full leather front seats piped in red. All topped off with a Special Wishes gold-embellished gear lever knob.

3) It’s been looked after; comprehensive maintenance record supporting the indicated mileage of 73,855 which includes a documented engine refresh carried out by Porsche Cambridge in 2010 at 67,542 miles. The car has covered a little over 6,000 miles in the last nine years and we have just carried out a major service here in our workshop (including spark plugs and brake fluid).

The Supersport models cost an additional £10,000 to what was already a very expensive car, this could explain why so few were ever made? With the wide arches and big spoiler plus the suspension and brakes from the Turbo, the Supersport also benefited from the manual G50 gearbox, Fuchs alloy wheels, electric door mirrors, power steering, air conditioning, CD Player, central locking, electric windows, 8-way electrically adjustable seats (including lumbar support) and an alarm.

It will be accompanied by its original tool roll, aluminium spare wheel (correct for a Supersport), a second key, the Certificate of Authenticity, handbooks, service book and the history file.

We would class this Supersport as a Grade 4; a great example without any issues for the near future. Ready to use with confidence, drive and enjoy…..
