Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 WTL

HCC is proud to present this 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa with the M491 “Turbo Look” package and just over 61k miles. Finished in Linen Grey Metallic over a black interior, it was optioned with the limited slip differential, a shorter gear shift lever, a steering wheel with raised hub, and the aforementioned Turbo Look package (option code 491).

Available on coupes, cabriolets, and targas, the M491-equipped cars gained the wider fenders, front and rear spoilers, brakes, and suspension from the 930 Turbo while retaining the 3.2L naturally aspirated flat-6 of the Carrera. In total, Porsche produced a little over 1,800 M491 cars between 1984 and 1989. Of those, only 95 were 1989 model year cars and just 15 of those Targas. As a 1989 model, it features the improved “G50” 5 speed manual, which was equipped on all Carrera 3.2s from 1987 on. This M491 Targa is offered fully serviced with a clean title and a Carfax showing a minor incident in 2003.
