This 964 model is rare due to its limited production of 1532 units, the internal factory code for the left-hand drive model is 964650 and 964651 for right-hand drive, 433 were produced with tiptronic gearbox, 6 with the engine 3 3L Turbo including 3 in left-hand drive for Germany and a Speedster prototype for Porsche AG in December 1991 in red with a manual gearbox. This is one of the 585 produced in TLU in 1992 for Germany (code C00) with manual gearbox which was priced at the time 169300 Deutschmarks excluding options, the narrow model was invoiced with an additional 36000 Deutschmarks. With the Carrera RS it was the only model with two-wheel drive with atmospheric engine equipped with the hydraulic braking system which was reserved for 4-wheel drive.
