Of course, every 911 4S is something special. But when you come across a still original Dutch delivered Cabriolet manual transmission after almost 20 years, you know it’s pretty rare. It was delivered 6 days after I started at Porsche Centrum Leusden nota bena, by my colleague at the time and remember the lucky ones well. At the time, a 996 4S Cabriolet was pretty special, especially as a manual version. Recognizable by the thicker rear fenders and handsome red band across the hood. The red brake calipers betray the thickest variant, which inherited everything from a Turbo. The suspension, the holes in the front and rear bumpers, it was just a bit tougher on all sides.
