The 996 Turbo was a revolutionary super sports car at its introduction in 2000. 4 wheel drive, water cooled top performance (even to todays standards!) but still based on the reliable Mezger engine, so nothing to do with some of the issues the 996 series was facing in the early years.

This particular example has had an easy life. Delivered as one of the first ones in Netherlands in August 2000 in an interesting and rare colour, Meridian Pearl Metallic. At first sight it looks like regular Arctic Silver, but when the sun is lighting up the paint, it is warmer and with a real nice glow. The majority of the kilometers were done in the first few years. Since 2013-2014 the car was part of a collection and did a minimum of kms each year resulting into a very nice 21 year old! car that is still close to new.
Besides the rear right wing, the car is still in first paint and accident free.
