2002 Porsche 996 Turbo in Black for sale!

A model in which many goodbyes were said and many more doors were correctly opened. Welcome water cooling, aerodynamics and a completely new drivetrain. 4 valves per cylinder and the biggest, lightest and of course fastest ‘standard’ Carrera ever. A 3.4 and pretty soon thereafter even 3.6 liters of Stuttgart power. Liquid-cooled and the first ‘not Ferdinand approved’ 911. Will it turn over in its air-cooled heaven? We think not.

In 1969 Porsche was already working on very unwise, life-threatening, but mostly fun toys. For example, there was a 6.0 boxer ready on the shelf for the 917, with 770 Stuttgart horses(!). However, this remained in the play lab and never saw the light of day. What they did get out of it was the turbocharger. And that, they used it eagerly, Greta!

And it was put to good use in the water-cooled Metzger. -Metzger? -I hear you thinking. Yes, Hans Metzger, head of technical design of the 996 Turbo engine, built a completely different (cough -much better- cough) engine, without IMS bearing, to name a few. The 420 fueled Turbo horses kick the elfer to 100 under those 4 seconds. Even with the new Golf 8 GTI at the stoplight, you’re safe from humiliation by chaps.

And ours? Yeah. As it should be. All around original paint (including some original stone chips), the still matte Porsche leather, fully dealer maintained and checked by our Porsche specialist, PSTG in Huizen. Low mileage, black. In the beginning God created heaven and earth. Smart move.

Was passiert, wenn man 24 Stunden lang Vollgas fährt? Nichts, wenn es ein Porsche ist. –
