What makes a Porsche 911 so incredibly beautiful? It is in several elements: a stretched body, timeless curves and details that refer to both legendary motorsport history and modern sportiness. But the secret lies mainly in the fusion of these: the mix is unique and unprecedentedly beautiful. Combined with 19-inch Carrera S wheels with Platinum satin finish, it is not very difficult to imagine a castle or country house. The interior does not disappoint in the least: the 2+2 cabin is covered with tasteful black leather upholstery with perforated seating surfaces and white stitching on the seats. The Alcantara headliner, velour carpets, leather dashboard/door trim and the GT steering wheel are also black in color. Aluminum accents on the Tiptronic S lever, dashboard insert, shift option on the steering wheel, door sills and 8-way seat control [incl. memory and lumbar support] complete the whole effectively.
This 997 was delivered new in mid-August 2006 by the dealer in Hamburg to the owner of an exclusive garden furniture store. The Dutch new price, including options, was € 140,123. The second, German owner also drove it for business [construction company] from July 2010 to March 2013. The latter imported the car to the Netherlands and drove it by one owner until December 2021; the first 6.5 years for business, then more than 2 years privately. The last, fourth owner bought the car from Waalgarage and recently traded it in for another Porsche. As far as we know, the car was always stored indoors, on the drip, and in addition to careful warming up and timely maintenance, only premium fuel was used.
Dealer maintenance was stamped at 23,431km [9-7-2008], 40,363km [27-7-2010], 60,529km [19-3-2012] and 92,205km [8-11-2013]. Afterwards, maintenance was always carried out by Porsche specialist Waalgarage at 121,545km [6-3-2015], 150,700km [11-11-2016], 184,997km [2-5-2019], 201,895km [27-7-2021] and 216,531km [6-1-2023]. The latter involved a minor service with fresh gearbox oil and filter. The front brake pads, various lines and fluid were also replaced in January ’23. All invoices are visible. The MOT is valid until 26 January 2025. The Michelin summer tyres with N2 coding from 2017/18 have approx. 40% tread all around.
The past is accident-free. Except for the passenger door and the screen on the right rear, all paint values are still original; these two panels have only been resprayed for cosmetic reasons. Apart from light stone chips, there are no deep scratches, dents and/or significant kerb damage. It has not been smoked in and the interior feels fresh. All electronics function properly, it shifts smoothly and the engine runs very cleanly, without smoke development during cold start. Both keys are present; the original PCM system is no longer present. After the photo shoot, the Climate Control switches and the logo on the tailgate have been replaced. A purchase inspection is always possible.
