The car’s exterior was completely disassembled and was prepped for a complete respray. CPR refinished the vehicle in its correct silver and reassembled it with replacement parts anywhere that was required. After being painted, the car was color sanded and buffed to remove orange peel and light imperfections, resulting in an arrow straight, beautiful finish throughout.
CPR initially chose to only install the rear portion of the replacement Martini stripe package after the car was repainted. It can be delivered as is, or with the stripe-package removed or the full Martini livery installed at no charge for the new owner.
The interior in the car remains wholly original aside from several flourishes that the previous owner added. The additions include aluminum pedals, silver gauges, and a late model Porsche radio. The interior can be reverted to stock if the next owner prefers. The carpet, dash, headliner, and all leathers are original to the car.
The car will deliver to the next owner with a complete major service having just been performed. All fluids to include engine, gearbox oil and brake fluid are fresh. The suspension system has been wholly sorted with replacement bushings and hardware where necessary. The wheels were refinished by Al Reed Polishing and are in beautifully restored condition.
This 1977 930 is an example that spent most of its life living in a private collection and being driven sparingly. Since its arrival to CPR, it has been revived into an excellent collector-grade Turbo and will serve its next owner well for many years to come.
