Now available from CPR Classic is this lovely one owner 1998 Porsche 993 Carrera S painted in Arctic Silver over a two-tone gray leather interior. The car is an original Redwood California delivery and has resided with its original owner in California for the entirety of its life.

This 993S has been used as intended throughout its life being driven daily by one our local clients. The car initially resided in Northern California and was regularly serviced by Porsche San Rafael and Zuffenhausen Auto in San Rafael California. In 2012, this Carrera S was relocated with its original owner to Rancho Mirage CA where the car split time between the owner’s home in the desert and Rancho Santa Fe California, just inland of Del Mar.

The car has been highly cared for throughout its life with regular documented services and all recommended preventative maintenance. When the car eclipsed 100,000 miles the owner chose to have the engine completely overhauled and a new clutch installed.

When the car recently came to us it showed 140,000 miles and 40,000 miles on a complete overhaul. While it maintained perfect running order, there were several minor oil leaks that needed to be addressed before delivery. CPR chose to completely disassemble the engine and inspect and rebuild as needed to get this 993 Carrera S into pristine mechanical condition.

993’s have seen incredible rises in value over the last 7 years and the preferred S model cars with low original mileage have consistently been selling for $100,000 and up. This example is an opportunity for an enthusiast to use and enjoy a beautiful car for a fraction of the cost of a low mileage example.
