It was found again in 1975, in Alsace, before changing hands in 1980, still in the region. It was in 2011, 31 years later, that another enthusiast, still from Alsace, bought it and began a complete restoration of the chassis, all the mechanical parts, running gear and bodywork.

In addition to its Porsche certificate of authenticity, this car is accompanied by an extensive restoration file including step-by-step photos of the bodywork stripped and treated, the engine and gearbox (Matching Numbers) and invoices in excess of €80,000; particular care was taken to find period parts during the restoration, which were also purchased on invoice.

Fitted with Weber carburettors in its day-to-day use, this car has always been pampered without ever having undergone any haphazard modifications; its condition and use make it one of the most desirable examples on the market today.

This vehicle will be auctioned at the AGUTTES classic car sale on Sunday March 10, 2024 in Paris.
