This Carrera is a superb choice for an enthusiast; easy to live with, simple to maintain (in comparison with more modern machinery) and very durable. This one has now done 126,000 miles, the majority of course with the last owner of 24 years who had the benefit of his business paying for the maintenance of his Porsche and that, along with skilled careful driving is what makes this 911 stand out. It’s now time for a new devotee to enjoy it as the previous owner did.
We grade our Classic Porsche but this one has caused us consternation. It is an award winner on the ‚love it‘ category, the bodywork, unusually for the age is excellent and notably consistent shade of red throughout which definitely helps this 911 look so good. Some straightforward work would bring this one to the next level. Technically a great driver, motor, clutch and transmission operating well, suspension , steering and brakes all doing what they should. It’s just been inspected by our team and we give it a good solid grade 2, maybe a 3. This Classic Porsche will be sold with our own Warranty. It is going to make a new owner very happy. With a little bit of work and some additional ‚love‘ along the way, it can certainly move up a notch. We will offer it at a very sensible price, taking into consideration that it’s good, but not without character.
These 3.2 make a great hobby car. This one could be taken to the next level as an original, or we could help you make some modifications to create a weekend sports cars capable of all sorts of fun. It’s your call………
