1986 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Super Sport for sale in the UK!

The Porsche 911 SuperSport which is known as the SSE model or Turbo-Look was first introduced in 1984. It featured the Turbo style wider wheel arches front and rear and the distinctive Turbo spoiler (Whale Tail). It also featured the stiffer Turbo suspension and the superior Turbo braking system, as well as the wider wheels and tyres. It was an official model available from dealers from 1986 and all cars built from 1986 have the M491 option code linked to the car. This particular car is one of a few extremely rare cars manufactured in 1985 without the M491 option code. These cars were taken off the production line and produced through the special wishes program. A total of only 34 RHD UK Coupe models were produced, making this a very rare car indeed.

Das Fahrzeug im Detail

Presented in fantastic original condition throughout and still in its original iconic colour combination of Guards Red paintwork over Black interior. Supplied by AFN Guilford and delivered to its first owner through Lancaster Porsche Norwich in Febuary 1986. The car remained in Norfolk for several years before being sold to a gentleman on the south coast, where it changed hands again before then coming back to Norfolk with its current owner in 2016 who purchased the car from Porsche Portsmouth. The car has covered only 71,634 miles at the hands of its 5 past owners and benefits from comprehensive service history as detailed in the original service book which is accompanied by an impressively large folder of invoices going all the way back to 1987. Servicing is all up to date with the last service carried out by Porsche Norwich in October 2021. A matching numbers car, confirmed by the COA from Porsche.

This 911 has never needed to be restored and remains in wonderful original condition, with no sign of any accident damage and with just some isolated paint work carried out over the years as to be expected. A multiple award winning car, there are six trophies that accompany the car for various wins at concours events and shows around the country. The car remains completely stock apart from the addition of upgraded fully adjustable KW coilover suspension all round, which further improves the cars handling capabilities. The car starts on the button, sounds fantastic and still feels very tight and precise on the road with no unwanted sounds or smoke. The original wheels have been refurbished to a very high standard and are wrapped in matching Continental tyres all round. The original book pack is present including the service book and original drivers manuals. Current MOT is valid until April 2022 and the car will be supplied with 6 months warranty. Overall this is a superb example of what is already a very rare Porsche 911. A perfectly usable classic that can be enjoyed as its value appreciates.
