There is evidence of 30 services and in the last 6,000 or so miles, almost £ 8,000 has been spent on bodywork and paint and a further £ 3,250 on suspension. Upgraded with Koni dampers and Eibach springs courtesy of Center Gravity, these changes work particularly well in a Carrera 4. It also had a substantial amount spent on an engine build (approx 60,000 miles ago), plus it has a power chip and G pipe. The result is a 911 that feels sharp, responsive and fun, yet also benefits from security in all driving conditions.

Supplied by Lancaster Garages (Colchester) Ltd, Official Porsche Center in Essex in Silver metallic with black interior and 17 ”Cup alloys. Options included an electric sunroof and air conditioning.

The 964 was an all-new 911, introduced for the 1990 model year. Alongside the all-wheel drive system, previously the special reserve of the Porsche 959 supercar, new innovations included ABS, a G50 5 speed manual gearbox and a twin spark 3.6. The 964 Carrera 4 was the dawn of a new era for road-going Porsche.
