2009 Porsche 911 Targa 4S (997.2) 6-Speed: With its distinctive, model-specific, flowing arch characterized by bright-finished trim, the Targa’s understatedly eye-catching concept allows for the enjoyment of the open-air whilst still retaining the 911’s signature coupe proportions that are further exaggerated by way of the rear’s iconic and intriguingly protruding widebody. Stepping inside is where the charming nature of the Targa becomes even more apparent as the nearly seamless glass roof offers panoramic views and adds a unique element to the 911’s lauded driving experience. Elevating the model’s specialness is its scarcity, production of the 997 Targa began in 2006 and concluded in 2012 with about 5,888 units having left Stuttgart as Targa 4S models with approximately 1,156 Targa 4S Coupes bearing the 2009 model year designation.
