Porsche produced this special edition to celebrate the success of the 997; with a 3.8 litre flat six making a very healthy 408 bhp, the GTS bridges the gap between a regular Carrera S and the track inspired GT3. It offers outstanding performance and handling with the luxury and comfort of a grand tourer.

This is a beautiful looking 911. The GTS has the wider rear track and curvaceous bottom of its 4WD counterparts, a SportDesign front bumper, side skirts and those amazing 19″ gloss black RS Spyder alloys with race-style centre lock fixings. In Basalt black metallic with subtle silver badging, this GTS catches your eye immediately, even in the company of other great Porsche.

Das Fahrzeug im Detail

This GTS has the option of the Sport Chrono Package Plus which enhances the engine response, chassis and suspension (via the Porsche Active Management System) when selecting either the Sports or Sports+ modes. This also activates a change in the PDK transmission giving swifter changes at optimum times for more aggressive shifts up and down the ‘box. The Sports exhaust system is activated by a centre console button, changing the tune from the special finish black and polished quad pipes.

Inside, this GTS is a little different from the norm. Firstly, the standard Alcantara trim has gone in favour of factory optioned black leather with silver stitching plus a carbon interior package. Secondly there is the bonus of full rear seats, an option not often seen on a GTS. The seat belts are Guards red introducing a splash of colour to the comfort of the cabin.

This GTS also benefits from Bi-Xenon headlights with Dynamic Cornering system, heated seats, cruise control and automatic air conditioning.

PCM (Porsche Communication Management) with telephone and extended navigation modules, plus Universal Audio Interface for iPod and Bluetooth audio connectivity.

Serviced in 2013 at 10,030 miles, 2015 at 17,700 miles, 2017 at 21,867 miles and most recently by us in 2019 at 26,726 miles (including spark plugs)
