Produced only from 1974-1977, the 911 S 2.7 split the difference between the entry-level 911 and the top-line 911 Carrera 2.7. With new standard features including new impact-resistant bumpers and extensive updates to the car’s drivability and performance, the second-generation 911 (the ‘G-Series’) was much more comfortable than its predecessor without reducing its fun-to-drive personality.
