The vehicle in detail

Ground-up restored and re-engineered by PRINZIP R (Stuttgart/Munich) in their OEM Plus / R+ program. Full teardown, bare-metal restoration, then systematic upgrade of every system that matters for real driving: cooling, power delivery, gearbox, suspension, braking, sound, comfort.
The engine is a 3.4-liter turbocharged flat-six with forged Mahle internals, a Garrett twin-scroll turbocharger, and programmable EcuMaster engine management. Two switchable boost maps: a relaxed touring mode and a second stage delivering 600 hp and 750 Nm. Cooling was fully re-engineered – triple oil cooler circuit, water-to-air charge cooling routed through the front bumper. The car stays composed in traffic, on passes, and on long summer drives. It is also still a fully aircooled engine, just optimized intake air cooling for long term reliable performance at that level. No marketing or hype talk horses here.
The G50 5-speed was reinforced at the known weak points – differential side cover, bearings, synchros – and fitted with a Sachs GT3-spec clutch and a shortened shift linkage. KW Clubsport coilovers, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 on period correct 17-inch AZEV wheels, upgraded stabilizers. Braking is original 930 Turbo with Spiegler braided lines.
Inside: full leather, Recaro-style buckets with headrests, 380mm RS steering wheel, bouclé carpet, Blaupunkt SQR 46 DAB, and a discreetly integrated Audison HiFi system with DSP and subwoofer. Sunroof. A/C upgrade to electrical system from classic retrofit. Registered as 2-seater.
Outside: Moonlight Blue Metallic, raingutter delete, 3.0 RS-style front and rear bumpers (functional for central oil cooler), PPF on all high-exposure panels. Clean, tight, nothing that screams aftermarket – instead it whispers “OEM Plus”.
