Launched in 2005, the Porsche 911 type 997 phase 1 (997.1) marked a return to the iconic round headlights, breaking with the controversial design of the previous generation. The Carrera 4S convertible version combines a 3.8-liter flat-6 engine developing 355 horsepower with all-wheel drive and a wider, more muscular rear body.
This example was delivered new to the Porsche Center in Florence, Italy.
This car was imported to France in 2011 and has been owned by the current owner since June 2023.
This 997 is in very good overall condition.
The bodywork is in very good condition. The metallic black paintwork is smooth and has a beautiful shine. There are some minor signs of wear around the bodywork. The Turbo wheels are in very good condition. The spoiler works perfectly. The headlights and mirrors are in excellent condition. The black soft top is functional.
The interior is in excellent condition. The leather seats are very well preserved. The dashboard, instrument panel, and leather door panels are flawless. The famous Sport Chrono Plus package is located in the center of the dashboard. All on-board equipment is functional.
The Flat-6 underwent major servicing by a Porsche specialist a few months ago, starts well and delivers full power. The cylinders were inspected by endoscopy in 2023 and 2025, and none of the cylinders are scratched. The 6-speed manual transmission allows for smooth and precise gear changes. This car is equipped with a Cargraphic stainless steel muffler (€3,000). The road handling is excellent.
