Porsche 996.1 GT3 – technical and visual upgrade to 996.2 GT3 | 381 hp | first delivery in Germany.

An exceptional Porsche 996.1 GT3 with extensive technical and visual upgrades to the standard of the 996.2 GT3 is available for sale. The vehicle combines the basis of an early 996.1 GT3 with the technology and appearance of the facelift model, offering a particularly appealing overall package for enthusiasts.

The basis is a 2000 pre-facelift body with original GT3 chassis number. The car was then completely converted to the appearance of the 996.2 GT3 and its technology. Only original Porsche parts were used, including bumpers, fenders, headlights, aerodynamic components, and the original GT3 rims.

The vehicle is also technically based on the facelift model: the 3.6-liter GT3 engine from the 996.2 with 381 hp, including a matching ECU, was installed. The powertrain is complemented by a GT3 Cup transmission with shortened shift travel, which ensures a particularly direct and motorsport-like driving experience.

The conversion work was carried out by the previous owner, who ran an independent Porsche specialist workshop for almost 30 years.

The last entry in the service booklet was made at 42,000 km. An original Porsche coilover suspension is also installed. The car currently stands on Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R semi-slicks, mounted on original GT3 rims.

Notes on the current condition:

The vehicle still needs some attention in a few areas. There are the usual signs of wear and tear due to age, but nothing serious.
