s 1959 Porsche 356A Coupe, finished in Ruby Red over Black leather seats with a leatherette interior, represents the final year of the ‘A’ series. Considered by many as the most shapely 356, the 1959 model provided a number of improvements over earlier models including a more powerful Type 616/1 engine with Zenith twin-throat carburetors, the synchronized 716 transmission, and a ZF steering box that improved handling.
