Incredibly rare 1959 model year which makes this porsche a jump-year car from when they transitioned from 356 a to 356 b. only 1320 356 b coupes made with the single-engine grill and small rear window from the 356 a with the updated bumpers and body from a 356 b and this is one of them.

A full and total engine rebuilt from the bottom up has been facilitated by jack swint the lead technician in charge of the porsche classic center at porsche cars north america and knows every nut and bolt on the car.
The engine has been fitted with nikasil pistons and cylinders which are superior to anything oem porsche makes.
a scat chromoly billet crankshaft has been installed and has been heat treated precision-ground and nitrided offering superior strength when compared to any other crankshafts on the market. along with the scat crankshaft are a set of upgraded 912 connecting rods.
both carburetors were rebuilt by franz blam racing in tucker ga along with the fuel pump.
the pistons cylinders crankshaft connecting rods brand new gaskets rebuilt carburetors and all other restored components has fully ensured that this flat 4 has been bulletproofed and made worlds more durable than a standard 356 engine.
the suspension has been fully revamped by the porsche classic center and has all new boots joints bushings sway bars etc.â the drum brakes have been tweaked and fitted with stainless steel brake lines.
during the restoration the gearbox was removed from the car and shipped up to michigan to be rebuilt by vic skirmants at 356 enterprises llc. and shifts like it is brand new. all new gear sets all new synchros tubes back plates gaskets shift fork everything was replaced and rebuilt.
exterior
this particular car started out as an accident-free 356 b in immaculate shape with perfect panel gaps. magnum collision in atlanta ga facilitated the cosmetic restoration of the car and stripped the entire car down to bare metal and rebuilt from the ground up. exterior has been painted in factory porsche light ivory and has light brown interior. all chrome bits have been polished to perfection and replaced as needed. wheels are in amazing shape. all exterior lights and turn signals have been replaced.
interior
interior is nothing short of phenomenal with every square inch beautifully finished to factory spec. hand-constructed custom $5000 bucket seats from gts classics have been installed and the oem factory seats also in light brown are included in the sale. the steering has been fitted with a nardi steering wheel. the oem plastic seat hooks on the headliner have been replaced with cast-silver hooks to ensure durability and retain the factory look. the german square cloth carpet is in fantastic condition with no rips or tears.
