The Porsche 356 was the first series model from the Porsche brand and established the manufacturer's worldwide reputation for lightweight, sporty, and technically sophisticated vehicles. Developed by Ferry Porsche and first built in 1948, the 356 was produced until 1965 and continuously refined.
